🚗 Autonomous Vehicle Technician

Location: Mountain View, CA
Pay: $40–$45/hour
Job Type: Full-time
Work schedule
Weds-Sunday Shift AM - 5AM-2PM  or Weds-Sunday Shift PM - 2pm-10PM 

🔧 What You'll Do:

• Inspect and maintain autonomous vehicles (AVs)

• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and software issues

• Work on sensors (LiDAR, cameras, radar), vehicle computers, and EV systems

• Respond quickly to issues through Slack (remote coordination too)

• Help with software updates and hardware changes

• Keep detailed records of repairs and parts used

• Make sure vehicles are safe and ready for demos or deployments

• Follow safety guidelines and support field operations when needed

👤 Who We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 3–5+ years as an automotive technician OR equivalent training

• Skills:

  • Able to fix mechanical, electrical, and computer-based vehicle systems

  • Experience with EVs, hybrid systems, and safety procedures (OSHA)

  • Knowledge of diagnostic tools, Google Suite, JIRA, etc.

  • Comfortable with Linux systems, sensor calibration, and embedded hardware

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Bonus: ASE or OEM certifications, experience with autonomous vehicles or test fleets
