🔍 Overview
Were hiring a CDL A Vehicle Operator to help test advanced driver-assistance and autonomous vehicle technology.
This role involves driving company vehicles, running tests, and providing feedback to engineers.
✅ What You’ll Do
- Safely operate:
- Semi-trucks (tractor-trailers)
- Straight trucks
- Passenger vehicles
- Test driver-assist and self-driving systems (on roads and test tracks)
- Complete pre-trip & post-trip inspections (DVIRs)
- Report system performance issues and feedback to engineering teams
- Support additional tasks as needed
🧰 Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license + medical card
- 5+ years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Experience with 53’ trailers (backing & maneuvering)
- Ability to drive long hours
- Willing to travel up to 50%
🚦 Driving Record Requirements
- Clean MVR (driving record)
- Max 2 minor violations in the past 3 years
- No serious violations in the past 5 years
- No DUI/DWI/OUI in the past 10 years
- No preventable accidents in the past 3 years
- No DOT-recordable accidents in the past 10 years
🧪 Additional Requirements
- Pass background check, drug test, and road test
- Meet all DOT requirements
- Follow instructions and safety procedures
- Strong communication (written & verbal)
- Team player with a professional attitude
- Interest in autonomous vehicle technology
