AI Data Site Technician & Team Lead

Austin, TX | Full-Time | $25–$30/hr | Contract

We are hiring a Data Capture Technician & Team Lead to manage construction site data collection projects in the Austin area.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will collect data at construction sites, manage field technicians, coordinate schedules, and make sure projects stay on track.

What You’ll Do

• Lead field data capture projects at construction sites
• Manage and support a team of technicians
• Travel to local job sites as needed
• Step in to cover projects when team members are unavailable
• Use mobile apps and camera equipment to collect data
• Ensure safety and quality standards are followed
• Communicate with site managers and project teams

Requirements

• Based near Austin, TX
• Available Monday–Friday, 35+ hours per week
• Experience leading teams or field operations
• Comfortable working outdoors and walking construction sites
• Tech-savvy with mobile apps and equipment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

• Construction, surveying, civil engineering, or site operations experience
• Team lead or project coordination background
